"Cognitive therapy seeks to alleviate psychological stresses by correcting faulty conceptions and self signals. By correcting erroneous beliefs we can lower excessive reactions"

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
The CBT Approach
My therapy sessions are collaborative and structured. I aim to create a warm and friendly space to facilitate our understanding of what has been happening for you. Sessions are designed to help clients formulate personal challenges and provide effective tools to help them manage current difficulties that could be maintaining anxiety or depression. CBT helps us to understand our thoughts, feelings and behaviours and experiment with new ways of thinking and feeling to build towards a better quality of life. Therapy is a chance to learn more about ourselves in a therapeutic and non judgmental environment.
My goal is to help you develop the tools you need to cope with all of life’s challenges. Contact me today to learn more and to discuss booking a session if you think CBT is the approach for you.
If you wish to arrange a telephone consultation I would be more than happy to do so. These will be arranged at a specific time and date in order for you to get the most benefit from the discussion.
